Houston, TX, June 5th 2015: Venari Resources (www.venari.com), a leading Texas based petroleum exploration firm, specializing in deepwater offshore reservoir exploration efforts in the Gulf of Mexico, opted to deploy four new state-of-the art data collaboration room suites from The CCOMM Group (www.ccommworld.com) to help enhance their critical communications and business objectives between Houston and Dallas office locations.
With major oil discoveries over the past year, Venari has continued their expansion and moved to a new HQ in Addison, Texas along with a new location in Houston, Texas. This provided the opportunity to create a next generation work-share environment that links local and remote teams with the ability to collaboratively share business critical data.
Among the various design alternatives offered for this project, Venari opted for a bespoke CCOMM design option that consisted of a centralized digital audio and video distribution system that supports all room environments, redeployment of pre-existing Crestron control based rooms (3 in Dallas, 2 in Houston), new Cyviz centric rooms (3 in Dallas, 1 in Houston), a Cyviz Server with remote management and troubleshooting features, for each facility.
Two Cisco SX80 videoconference-enabled, Cyviz seismic visualization suites that utilize 7.5 Megapixel total resolution display walls comprised of dual WQXGA blended projectors, were installed to facilitate ultra-resolution data sharing collaboration initiatives between geologists between the Houston and Dallas locations. Two additional Cyviz room solutions were installed for executive environments in the Dallas office using C90 and SX80 codecs. One Cyviz Meet - Video room solution, utilizing the Cyviz Display Controller to operate the room two 70” flat panels, DSP and videoconferencing system was installed into a small private executive videoconference room. The third Cyviz solution utilizes an extra wide format single projector with 2560x1080 ratio with Cyviz image processing to facilitate sharing of data and windowing of multiple simultaneous videoconference or data sources on the display wall using an SX80 with speakertrack camera setup
By implementing the highly ergonomic Cyviz videoconferencing environments, Venari has gained an enhanced capability to be able to quickly connect, collaborate and securely share important business data between other trusted business locations, customers and vendors, resulting in less travel and time expense.
In an effort to maximize Venari’s overall audio-visual investment between the two relocations to new offices, CCOMM incorporated and repurposed as much of the previously owned audio-visual equipment as possible into the new facilities, along with the provision of various new components/systems to provide complete centralized audio, video and control connectivity for all of the huddle room spaces (10), executive meeting spaces (3), collaboration and huddle spaces(8), and break rooms (2).
Mike Entwistle, CEO of The CCOMM Group commented ‘We are delighted that we could assist Venari in their journey of expansion and will continue to work closely with them in the future. We believe we are transforming working environments with the ability to incorporate collaborative data sharing with local and remote teams, using pioneering technology and supporting infrastructure”.
